On October 30^th, 2020, the IEEE PES Power System Relaying & Control Satellite Committee-China Inaugural Meeting was successfully held in Wuhan East Lake International Conference Center, which attracted more than 1,000 experts and scholars from power enterprises such as the State Grid Corporation and Southern Power Grid Corporation, scientific research institutions such as Nanrui, Quartet, Xu Ji, research and development enterprises such as China Electric Academy of Science and Technology, National Network Electric Academy and other scientific research institutions including Tsinghua University, Huazhong Central University of Science and Technology, Xi'an Jiaotong University and other universities. With our School of Electrical Engineering being the leading and secretary unit, the On-line Monitoring&Fault Warning of Electrical Equipment Subcommittee was also annouced at the meeting, Professor Xiong Xiaofu from our school hosted as the chairman of the technical sub-committee.
